Hi all,
i've developed an external aspx page and i've put it in _layouts folder to make it visible to sharepoint.

But, how can i tell sharepoint i want to use its current theme? Or simply its current styles?

I guess i have to make some CSS imports in my page but how?

Thanks in advance!

Massimo

Thanks for your reply but applying theme in frontpage i think has limitations...

Imagine that a user wants to change theme to site... I'd like to see that theme changed also in mine external aspx page.

So i guess i have to import some CSS files in that page, but how CSS?

Massimo

The frontpage theme does also affects the extrnal pages.

But you could replace one of the existing theme's...

I'm sorry, i was not explained:
i imagine an user who changes theme site not with frontpage but with "site Settings" --> "Apply theme to site"

You think is possible to dinamically change theme to mine aspx page in that way?

Cheers

Massimo

Oke that can be done its a bit of work though. First of all a theme is applyed for all users so its as if everyone can apply his/her own theme.

So how do you procede

Add you new theme to the SPTHEMES.XML located in:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\60\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\<lcid>

And make a theme in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\60\TEMPLATE\THEMES

Because its a lot of work editing each file there was some talk about extracting the ELM files (Frontpage themes)

For some reason the & in the url gets replaced with & . So you need to change this (x2)
