Apply Polycom SIP firmware to Nortel 2033

I have a Nortel 2033 phone with UNISTIM firmware on it. Has anyone had any luck applying the Polycom 4000 SIP firmware?

No, I once converted a unistim phone (cannot recall the type) to sip following the docs, however was informed this was actually breaking a license agreement. This was a couple of years ago, before Nortel was bought out by Avaya.

sorry bucky101 I realise how unhelpful this was. If you need any docs for avaya sip I'll take a look (don't know if you have access to them). Don't know about Polycom 4000 SIP firmware; perhaps

Oh OK, Yeah its easy to convert the 1140's to SIP, but I guess the 2033/4000s are different
