I've used the Hyperlinkpart method to remove the '#' signs so I could perform some string manipulation.

After the string manipulation I've copied the text string back to a text box with hyperlink properties set. However, when the user clicks the hyperlink nothing happens. I suspect it is because the text string is missing the '#' signs.

Is there a way to apply the hyperlink properties back to the text string?

I dislike hyperlink fields a simple textbox using Folloehyperlink in the click or, better, double-click event is a lot easier to maintain. If you must use the hyperlink field, you need to set the field to something like:

txtHyperlink="Description#

Right on Remou,

I had just stumbled on to adding the '#' signs to beginning and end of the string when your response came in.

It works just the way I needed it to.

Thanks
