I have A app running on box 1 and a B server on box 2. there are two firewalls between 1 and 2. My question is, if A has a established connection with B, but being in silent for quite a while. Then the firewall will terminate the session which causes problem. I want to know whether the firewall only terminate all of the connections between 1 and 2 if they are silent for too long time, or it only terminate the session of THE connection which is in silence?

Is there a solution to the time out.
