An application that I am working on was developed on a computer with the settings of 1024 by 768 pixels, however several users have their monitors set at 800 by 600 pixels.

The users complain that part of the application disappears on their screen, and they don't want to change their monitor settings.

Is there a way to automatically have the application adjusts it's sized based on the user's display settings?

Thanks,

If the user interface is not too large and you can fit it into a 800x600 screen then set your computer to that resolution when you design the program and it will then fit the higher resolution.
If you wish to have the user interface fill the whole screen for both resolutions then you have to establish the resolution of the user screen by way of an API call and then resize the controls on the form to adjust for the difference in screen size [sig]
PK Odendaal
pko@mweb.co.za

[/sig]
