Hi Guys,

Is there a way to find out the Application Record ID on a 3300 CXi controller. (We don't have password)

Maybe by telneting the IP address using system/sx2000...

We need to reintall software and reprogram extensions (Only 10 extensions). We are doing this while Mitel transfer application record to our AMC account.

This is for a new customer that don't have controller's password.

We only know the IP address, don't even know what version is installed on the controller.

Regards,

What version of controller , for most versions there is a password recovery that has been discussed here before

there have been a lot of post recently on password recovery on controllers. Maybe that is you best answer.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Application Record ID will not be stored on the controller (it may be shown in the license options but only if the system has been previously synced with the AMC via the internet. If you have the sys ID (If I remember correctly the older systems used to have a sticker on the back with this info on).

will amc provide app record number if i tell the sys id?

Yes but only if the sys Id is registered to your AMC account. If this is a controller you company purchased then yes. If it was bought used then probably still registered with previously owner. This is presuming you are a var and not an end user. End users don't normally have AMC access

On pre release 10 you can telnet to the controller log in with defualt passwords and READ the forms including the app record.

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

nytalkin,

where is the app record? what form?

regards,

daniel

Not sure if you will be able to see this form in telnet. License option selection as not an SX2000 form it was 'dimension & features select'

can't find it in the telnet session... all i see are the dim and feat sel as bobcheese says
