Application Pool Terminating Event ID 1009

We are running Windows Server 2003 SP2 on our web server.Recently, we developed a new .NET web site. I have created a new application pool for this web site.Also, on the web site properties I have ASP.NET 2.0 as the version.

But the web site doesn't seem to be running and the message I see in the Event Viewer is

Event ID 1009 Source W3SVC.

A process serving application pool terminated unexpectedly. The process id was ??'. The process exit was ?x********'

This server is not a domain controller
