Hello, I run a citix MF 1.8 server on Win2k. I have an application that I run through a mapped drive to the citrix box. In the app path I basically have it run a bat file that mnaps the user to the app drive. This seems to work however the users are having severe performance issues (it's running at 2)% spped it should run) any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jon

Is the app always slow?? Or is it dependent on number of users....???

Check Task Manager/Processes and Click on CPU to check which processes are utilising the CPU most when the app is running slowly, this might let you see if its just this application or another process it is dependent on.....

What is the application anyway...??!!!

Well the app is a 16 bit dos app (custom) and the reason I am loading it with a bat file is because for some reasoin I could'nt get the users to map witha login script?!? There normal scriopt runs througha novell box. Anyway my server just came up (last night) with a missing ntoskrnl error and for some reasone It wouldnt take the rdisk (only 3 days old) just having dumb luck with this box and should be rebuilt AGAIN by around noon. any clues on how to get my users to map via there login script as opposed to doing it with the bat file on each app? thanks again i appreciate your help. I'll fit in this server rebuild with the 2 pix FW's and other NT box I need done a week ago!
:)
thanks
