Application not printing after installing Windows XP

Hello I am using CR 8.5 for a vb6 application.
I made a distribution package with sms installer with version check on dll's etc.
It worked fine under W2K but after installing XP my application does everything right exept for the printing part. The CR dialogs appear but nothing comes out of the printer. Not even on the default printer. Does anyone know where to look? I'm lost :(
