Teky,
In Start\Administrative Tools\Event Viewer\Logs you have the option of clearing the System, Security,& Application logs. If you don't want to clear any you also have the option of increasing the size of log file.
Have a good day.
One thing I've found over the years is that the default log file settings don't work and should be changed. The default settings allow each of the 3 log files to grow to a whopping 512K, but do not allow events less than a week old to be overwritten. My recommendation is this:
In event viewer, go to "Log" and select "Log Settings". Change the maximum file size to 2048kb (2 meg), and select "Overwrite Events as needed". Note that you have to do this for each of the log files individually (Application, System and Security), and individually on each PC. Event Viewer will then allow the oldest events to be overwritten as needed, but the increase in size will allow you to keep several weeks worth in the file. It also makes the error message you referenced go away.
Hope this helps... - Bill
