Application inventory on AIX systems

How can I discover all applications installed on a AIX system (4.3.x)?
I mean, is there any feature implemented on such systems working as the Windows registry to check in order to find out which applications are installed ?
Does any system managed file exist to such purpose ?

lslpp -l|more

onofrio,

lslpp gives you a list of the applications that are installed through intallp or smit. Other applications, like Oracle, that have their own installation routines will not appear with an lslpp command.
