Hi,

I have a remote client that needs to have some applications installed on their computers. And instead of driving 200 miles to the site and spending 20+ minutes at each of 40 computers, I would rather do an automated install of the apps at logon time. I have seen this happen in the past when working as a client but I am not familiar with how to do it. Can anyone here point me in the right direction?

If there is an Active Directory in place and all clients are Win2k or above then you can use Group Policy to deploy applications but it might be a bit hard to setup remotly.

Take a look at this link.

When you are the IT director, it's your job to make sure the IT works. If it does work they know already and if it doesn't, they don't want to hear your pathetic excuses.
