Am getting application error during and upon leaving Autodesk Inventor 5.0. Typical message is "The instruction at 0x5ce4b119 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read." Results in termination of the program.
System is a Pentium 4, ASUS P4B running Windows 2000 Pro. Memory is 1 Gig, video adapter is ELSA Gloria II. All known Windows, Autodesk and ELSA updates are in place.

HELP!!!!!

sorry this is no help, but i have to laugh - haha - at the immensely BAD errors microsoft gives.
You're best bet is to re-install the program.
or windows.
or just beat the crap out of you're comp.
or assasinate bill gates.

any will probly work. Vassago

The error is the equiv. to "this program has performed an illegal operation" in winows 98. Yea Microsoft! Something else not quite useful, at least the error message is not as vague as in winME.
Check the error logs in the computer managment console.
In control panel, click on Administrative tools, computer management and find the error logs. It should give you a better idea as to what actually happened.
You may have to uninstall the program, or go to the manufacutres web site and see if there is a patch.
