Hello,

I'm using Microsoft Access 2003. I have a report with 5 sub-reports. I tried to insert a 6th one and I received the above stated error.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can go about fixing it.

Thanks in advance.

Do you get the error in Design view when you're trying to add the 6th subreport, or do you get that error at runtime when trying to view/run the report?

I have Access 2003, and I was able to add 7 subreports to my report and it ran successfully. That would lead me to believe that perhaps there's a problem with one of your subreports. Have you tried running that 6th subreport on it's own to see if you still get that error?

rjoubert,

I thank you for your quick reply. I was getting the error at runtime when trying to view/run report. I tried what you suggested that I run it on its own. I found my mistake. I was trying to add too many fields.

Thank you for your help. Here is a star.
