I have an imac with AppleWorks6, and have recently bought a used Powerbook 1400 with ClarisWorks. I would like to interchange floppies between these two computers. The imac will not accept the files from the powerbook 1400, and visa versa. Any suggestions out there?

Thanks for the tip, but I'm sure the format is correct. Since I posted the query, I have found more information that might help others.
On the imac write a document in AppleWorks and drag it to the floppy icon...click SAVE AS. In the window that comes up select ClarisWorks4...click SAVE. A new window will come up...click DON'T SAVE. Now this floppy will work with both the AppleWorks (imac) and the ClarisWorks (PowerBook). Hope this will help others, it's a pain but it works.
