Appleworks on a PC - drawing program problems

I make an Appleworks draw document with no problems on my home PC, then email it to myself at work, where I am on a WIndows peer-to-peer network.

When I open the document on my work PC, the machine freezes up. I've done a standard load of the program (on the work PC), using all defaults. Could it be the infamous Apple TCP/IP implementation problem, or is it something else?

I'd really like to kep Appleworks, but cannot keep this up much longer. Apple is no help, BTW...
