I am using AppleWorks v. 5. and I am trying to type a number that begins with some zeros (an ethernet ID # ) in a speadsheet. Everytime I type the number, Appleworks reformats without the zeros. For example, I enter: 00025
<press return> and it reformats to: 25 . Any help on how to make the program stop doing this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The easiest way would be to format it as text. This should let you enter anything.
