Hi
Designing webpages with applets have been no problem in 'Netscape' I want to use IE. But it doesn't display the applets offline.
Is there something I can activate or do to correct this.
thx

There should be no difference assuming the applets are available offline, you should check the local security settings in IE to make sure Javascript is enabled. Otherwise post more details of any error messages or symptoms you are getting.
How odd. I've discovered recently playing around that it doesn't like the applet 'codebase' attribute as well as calling the image from another directory. ??? My **offline** testing showed that, 3 files .class, image and html must be in the same location. Is that right? I can't get it to work with applets running from a class subdirectory and the images from an image directory?
Strictly speaking the three files don't need to be in the same directory, but if you are offline, then you would have to specify the complete paths so putting all in the same directory is easier. When you say it doesn't like 'codebase' what errors are you getting? Is it possible to post the code here or alternatively email to tech@woodcom.co.uk and I will take a look for anything obvious.
