applet reinitating another applet which is already running on same fra

Dear friend,
My problem is
I am running two applets on the same html page.
when the certain event occurs in first applet then the second one has to stop and again it has to initalise.in that way when ever event occurs in first one the second one has to start fresh.
please help me in solving this.
thank you.
