APPLET PLUGIN

Hey folks..

I am having a silly problem. . .

I cant seem to be able to get the plugin required for netbeans in order to run applets in IE. I thought it was supposed to download automaticaly with the netbeans software from the sun website, but this has not been the case. I have installed java on my laptop to save me from having to go to uni every day, but it's not much use if it doesn't work.

I'm sure there is a simple solution. Any ideas??

I think you need to install the jdk141x since the jdk installer sets up your browsers as well for running applets. You can also check that IE is using the sun jvm as well (look under tools->options).
