Hi,
This error only happens in IE, not Firefox.
- I have an applet JDialog thats drawn with SpringUtilities.invokeAndWait.
- When it loads it can be dragged around (show window contents while dragging set to on - desktop properties) and the dialog and desktop/browser beneath redraw nicely.
- If I wait appx. 1 minute then drag it around, it wipes out the screen beneath it (turning it white) and sometimes, often, turns white itself.
Any ideas why?
We're running Windows XP SP1/SP2, 2000SP4
It doesn't happen for a colleague of mine on XP - the difference is he hasn't got any service packs and he's using JRE 1.5.0
The error happens on machines with SP1 or SP2 with JRE 1.5.0_02+
