Hello everyone,

I've a little problem with a network here.
I cant't split the internetconnection (cable). The network exists out several Apples and a few Pc's witch one is the Server with Windows 2000 Server on it. The network is working fine, the server gives them al an ip adres with Spooling and everyone can use the network printers and read the share files....but the internet is not shared yet. I'm working with a hub. But with wich settings i have to split it? On the settings of the nic is already internet shared and i already tried a default gateway but it is not working.

Thanx in advanced. Roel

if the ISP has given you a single IP number, you need a router to share the connection.

Hardware routers are cheap these days, I got a firewall/router/switch off ebay, or you can buy a software router like IPNetRouter for mac or Sygate for PC (either will host all the computers, you do not need both)

Both the mac and PC use TCP/IP as their internet software, so there is usually no conflict between them to share the internet.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
