Any one please tell me what is Apple speaker minijak and can I use it with normal pc speakers if I want to use those with new PowerMac G4?

Many thanks

A mini jack is what you would have on a waltman to plug your headphones into, you should be able to plug your PC speakers into you mac. If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.

Apple Speaker Sound Output Port

Okay this is straight from Apple own Article about the sound ports on the new G4's. to see the article yourself go to Apple Knowledgebase and using advanced search , serach for article number 58764

"The Apple Speaker sound output port is a 2.5 mm stereo mini jack. It has a smaller diameter than the headphone sound output port to avoid inadvertently plugging headphones into it.

Warning: Some types of headphones and other audio devices have a 2.5 mm plug. You should not to plug such devices into the Apple Speaker sound output port. Doing so could damage the devices. The Apple Speakers include an internal ROM that enables the computer to identify the speakers. Speakers other than the Apple Speakers should not be connected to the Apple Speaker sound output port."
