Hi

I have a small 40 node network on a Windows NT domain

All hosts are distributed a private IP address from the PDC which is also the DHCP server.

I have set up a test Exchange server within our private IP nd plan to have NAT and port maps when we go ahead and host the mailserver.

My problem is that I have installed the Outlook 2001 client for apple mac and when I try to cret a profile it asks for the Exchange server - if I add the IP address of the server it says tht it does not exist or it can not find it.

IP works on the MAC as it is received from the DHCP server and also has it#nternet connectivity.

In the absense of PING and other IP tools I do not know how to go about resolving this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
