my call pilot was down re booted now it will not come up.I get this error ELAN011 ELAN 16 host IP=137.135.128.255 disabled due to polling timeout

not a valid IP address x.x.x.255 for CP

someone have been fooling around in the CP

re-run the config wizard and make sure you have a valid ELAN IP address in the CP and reboot it

the ip address has been fine for over a year

255 is not a valid address for the last octet. If your subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 your last octet must be between 1 and 254. There is nothing you or I can do to change this. 255 is the broadcast address.

Two addresses are reserved on every network, x.x.x.0 and x.x.x.255

Like tnphoneman states, its the broadcast address.

refer to RFC791-Internet Protocol for IP rules.

so i should change it to anything other than .255

MPCXnotif:connect to mas notification service failed sleep 30s

Your PBX IP is 137.135.128.253 and the subnet is 255.255.254.0

therefore, you can use any IP address from 137.135.128.1 thru 137.135.128.254 providing its not being used for something else.

Generally .252 is the secondary_enet on the PBX, so don't use that address.

Run the confiugration wizard in CP and make sure the PBX ELAN IP and Subnet Mask is correct in the CP and also assign a valid IP to CP ELAN interface. reboot the CP after you finish the config wizard and you should be in business

replaced the call pilot input same ip's card works fine

scanjet, it's great you got it going but what do you mean when you say "INPUT".

Thanks.
