Appending in Access

Hi,

I want to append 1500 records to an existing table i have. So one table to another. The problem i'm having is that when i make the append query run it dubplicates my records 576 times making me have far more duplicates than even one should ever want.

Does anyone know what it creates duplicates? any quick fixes?

I would do a couple of things. Get your query ready, and turn it around (datasheet view) before running it, to see if the results look like what you are trying to append. Also try to do a group by. Without knowing the specifics of your tables or query, I would also recommend looking at the Access Queries forum here.

Might get some more Access query junkies to help you out.
