Is there any way to append existing XML file ?

I have a Feedback form for a user to key in his
information. I will then crete a file to keep the
information inserted in the form.

However, each time when a user submits the form, the
information will be kept in a new file.

I would like to keep the information for all users in the
existing file which have already stored the feedback
information from other users.

Please help.

Thank you in advance.

This should not be terribly complex, depending upon the scripting language you are using to create the original files. I recently worked on a site that was hosted by a company that did not support any cgi's other than their own perl-derived scripting language. In that setting I simply formatted the information, then wrote it to the file just before the closing </XML> tag. Depending upon traffic at your site, you need to be careful to lock the file as it's being written. Really, this is all dependent on the particular language you are using to generate these files in the first place.
