I have been assigned to convert over our existing macros that we use in our existing Rumba application, for use in HOD. I am haveing some trouble making some of the macros as they will all need to be re-written.
The macros are only text in nature and we use them to document underwriting procedures. This is how they work:
- The screen has 17 blank lines (basically it's a notepad)
- each macro adds a specific letter to this screen
- however, many times 2 or more letters are needed
- each letter is added below the next (appended)
- once the 17 lines are used, the macro needs to instruct HOD to change to the 2nd page(next screen) and continue with the portion that is left of the letter
- this needs to be done "on the fly" when the underwriter selects each macro, as each situation calls for different letters.
Is there an easy way to develop these in HOD w/o a lot of programming? If so, how?
