Hello All,

I'm somewhat of a intermediate person in Access. I have a questionaire database that has 2 tables, lets call themm Table1 and Table2. Table1 has the questionaire info and Table to has comments that are for each record of Table1. I have a form tied to Table1 with a subform of Table2. I have append queries to append data from one database to another. Next I have command buttons to run this query when necessary.

The issue that I have is I don't want two command buttons to run these queries but one command button to do this. Does anyone have code are can point me to the right forum that can help me.

thanks

can you paste the code of both command buttons?

and if you do want to run one query with one click just in the on click event type 2 lines

docmd.openquery "query1name"
docmd,openquery "query2name"

that should do it

I will try my best to help others so will others do!!!!!

Thanks,

What I did was after the code to run the first append query, I used the Goto command and gave it a line number corresponding to the code that I wanted it to run next.

Thank you for you rapid response though.

you dont need to use the goto all you need is to type the command after the first command in the event
