This is a tough one!! Seriously, I have been working on this for weeks...

I have a website set up with a form and one text box. I would like to be able to append the contents of page 111.htm into the form field, be able to change the contents, and submit the form which will save the changes into 111.htm

in other words..

I open the form

The contents of 111.htm appear in the text box

I can change the contents

I click submit and that saves the changes I made.

It is possible with some server-side scripting to read in then rewrite the file.

Do you know anyone who I could ask about it? I don't really nkow anyone who knows enough about SSI to do that, and I don't even know where to start. :)

Not SSI but scripts, ASP, PHP etc. And a solution will depend on what you can run on your host.
