In several cases in my program when using the Show 1 method in a procedure that opens and unloads several forms, at least one of the forms will remain on screen with a frozen appearance until the procedure that called them is complete. I thought that once I invoked th unload event the form being unloaded disappears and the the procedure continues exeucting, but this is not the case.

Thanks for any help.

Put a "DoEvents" on the line immeadiately following the unload. Ruairi

Could your manufacturing facility benefit from real time process monitoring? Would you like your employees to be able to see up to the minute goal and actual production?

Thanks Ruairi,

Your tip worked fine. Tell me something, I have a procedure that I call to process payroll information for each employee of a company. With small companies of say 100 employees this works out ok, but for companies having 200 or 500 employees processing takes a long time to complete. Could the DoEvents statement help at all with this?
