App to run powershell scripts against 365 admin portal.

Hi There,
I'm looking to write something like this

for my own use as a 365 admin. Unfortunately I missed the boat when the app was in development. I assume it is a WPF application however I have zero idea how to authenticate to 365 to begin development.

Obviously I can buy the program but I would like to try to develop the tool so i can customise it to my liking.
