APP shutting down

When I run a report in a VB6, CR10, and SQL2000 application, the CR causes an error and shuts the app down before the error handling is allowed to execute. Does anyone have a way to find out what is causing this, and how to fix it.

What's the error message? If you step through the code, can you see what statement is causing the error?

When I step thru the code it shuts down on the statement CRViewer1.ViewReport
There is no error being produced.

Check your references/components to make sure you've got the CR 10 Viewer, and the CR 10 version of craxdrt.dll.

Can you post a bit more of your code as well, and whether you're using a .DSR or opening a report from a path?

What I want to know is why it quit working after I installed the latest fix.

But yes, I am working with those components and the correct dll. I have uninstalled everything and reinstalled it to make sure nothing was corrupt. This allowed the .dsr to be put into the application , but doesn't fis the issues.

But what code are you looking for , and I will post it.
