App Launcher

HELP?

I can log into several machines using the same user account and the App Launcher will load fine. There are a few machines that wont load the App Launcher. Instead they go straight to the desktop. No errors or anything...not even a zenapp32.dll error. I can run nal /i to get the launcher to load but upon reboot its not there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you launching NAL from your login script? If so, can you post your script. If not, how are you launching it? -----------------------------------------------------

No NAl is not launching from a login script. We are using policies to launch the NAl

Ensure that when the client was installed, workstation manager was installed as part of the installation. IF workstation manager is installed, check to ensure that the name of your tree is configured in there.

We are running 98...Yes WM was installed. I un-installed ane re-installed it with no luck. When NAL/i is executed from the command prompt the nal will launch but not remain resident. A path command at the command prompt reveals C:\novell\client32 on the machines that have the NAL but z:\novell\client32 on the ones that dont. Is it finding or not finding a file that is needed when pointing to Z?
