We have recently purchased APOS and I have set up the Access Bursting database with the details of who needs to receive the slices and the appropriate selection formula.
Much of this information is in the employee database that I am running the report against. I would like to link some tables with these data (employee table etc) and then run a query against one or more linked tables as they contain most of the data I require (name, email, department) and from that I can create the SelFormula field in the query. This would eliminate the maintenance in the Bursting database.
However, it does not seem to want to connect to the database.
Should I be able to do this or is it a no go area?
Thanks for any help
Stephen
