Apollo 2100U or is it a 2000U

I have an Apollow 2100U printer (or so it says on the front of the printer). When I connect it into XP it tells me it is a 2000U. The 2100U seems to be compatible with XP but not the 2000U. Can anyone confirm that? I have downloaded drivers from the net for a 2100u but the printer still won't work

Run a Self-Test on your printer, the resulting printout should list the actual model of the printer, although if the front panel indicates it's a 2100, it probably is. I would think the Apollo website would have the information you're looking for.
