Apogee Viper Rip 3.04 hangs up

Using Apogee Viper Rip 3.04 on G3 Mac. Has worked well for months. Recently however while progress bar of Interpreter reaches 100% Imaging progress bar hangs up at 99%. RIP Computer freezes so its switch everything off and then on again. This goes on for up to half a dozen A3s then it usually works ok but randomly hangs again. Any clues please?
