Hello All,

I have a license issue with a customer with CM 4.0.4
I installed a new AES server with System platform Version: 6.2.1.0.9
and AES version r6-2-0-18-0
Verint acr release 10.1 for voicerecording accepts only 4 channels to connect to, and i need 10.
This are the channels available in CM under API_A.
It seems that it is not possible to order 6 more API_A licenses for CM by avaya.
It is not a trusted application like CM5-->AES6.

According to the documentation i should downgrade aes to rel 6.1.1
This release should work with CM 4x.

i have enough licenses in aes but it won,t work between CM 4 and AES 6.2

Can someone tell me if downgrading will work?

Thx

Verint recording, not Avaya branded ACR? ACR is Avaya Call Recorder which is made by Verint for Avaya. It is a trusted app, but I dont think that is the limiting factor...

With CM5, IP_API_A became "optional". If DMCC has a DMCC_DMC license on the AES license, API_A is not requested from CM. If there is no DMCC_DMC, it looks to CM for an API_A.

Since you are on CM4, no matter how many DMCC_DMC you have on AES, you still need IP_API_A. IP_API_A should be an entitlement with the DMCC purchase, so go into RFA and apply the AES order number to your CM SID and download an install the new license. If the RFA piece sounds like greek to you, contact your reseller or Avaya account team.
