apche pdf problem

i have a great problem with my apche to serve pdf files. wehn i download the files and open it in the acrobat reader it runs without problem. when i open it in the netscape direct with the acrobat plugin it runs also. but when i open a pdf larger then 500 kb in the internet explorer with the acrobat plugin the page freeze or hang. i think its the apache how stops serve the bytes. i have took a problem pdf file that dont run with my apache and copied it to another apche. now when i load the file from the other apche it runs wunderufull with every pdf file in every browser. i think its an apche configuration. i have add the type pdf in the httpd.conf. can anybody help me i was very thankfull

You can have an AddType like this :

AddType application/pdf pdf

You also need to have MultiViews in the <Directory>, <Location>, or <Files> container. This is to enable referenec to the file-extension. See -->
