APC UPS - Waranty not honoured

I bought 6 UPS's, and one had a broken pin on the mains socket. APC refused to repair it under warranty, claiming it was shipping damage - yet the box was totally undamaged.

DON'T TRUST APC.

I am prepared to pay more from a company that will provide service.

Don't buy APC products if you want a warranty.

The battery on my old APC ups lasted 3 years. Then I bought a Belkin and that battery lasted 5 years. I just installed a Cyber Power UPS and I like it better than the other 2. It's got coax cable protection and the lcd screen is really neat to toggle through. Instead of looking at a low incoming voltage LED, I can look at an lcd screen and see the exact incoming voltage.
