Apache2 - Can't start the service/Error: 1503

I installed Apache2 and MySQL on Win2k Server and I've rebooted it.. the MySQL service starts just fine, but Apache2 doesn't start automatically, eventhough I go into Services and Apache2 is listed as Automatic and Log on as: Local System.. I then try to start it and receive the following:

Services: Cound not start the Apache2 service on Local Computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in timely fashion.

Any ideas anyone?

I've tried rebooting the server several times

Nope.. I uninstalled it a while ago..
