Apache with frontpage EXT's

I have installed and running FP2000 server extensions. I can connect to the server, enter password and view the pages. Unfortunately if I try to change them, I get an error message about service.lck . Does anyone know why? or how to get around the problem?

Problems with service.lck

I searched google and found two suggestions...
1. delete the file
2. something about ISUR_machine ???
does anyone have any suggestions?

I can open the webs but not write to them.
