I cannot seem to install Frontpage 2002 Extensions, I am trying to make the move from IIS to apache win32 , so far so good, with php and such, but I cannot install FP2002 extension as it complains that I do not have a IIS webserver.

any way I can get around this, perhaps even going to an earlier 2000 version of FP? Karl Blessing aka kb244{fastHACK}

Hi,

No - there is no such thing. The extensions are M$ code and I guess they don't want to do it for apache on win32 as it would reduce even further the marketability of IIS.

However, you can get round it according to this -->
Hope this helps

Front Page 2000 server extensions do install (at least under Windows 2000), but some important features don't work, such as hit counters and search forms. You can replace those with scripted routines. I installed the extensions anyway and supplemented what was missing with perl scripts. I can tell you that hover buttons do work.
