Hi,

Is there maybe a syntax error in httpd.conf ? Have you tested with :

# /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -t

or

# /usr/sbin/httpd -t

(depending where your httpd binary is)

You should just get :

Syntax OK

Otherwise try a 'killall' and restart :

# killall -9 httpd

and

# /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart

or

# /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start

Hope this helps
