Hi, I would like to ask if Apache 1.3.27 is compatible with PHP 4.3.1? I am currently running Apache 1.3.12 with PHP 4.3.1 and would like to upgrade Apache from 1.3.12 to 1.3.27. Would this cause a big impact?
Thanks,
Lourry

All of the later Apache 1.3.x versions are equally compatible with PHP.

There are two impacts I can think of: Apache version 1.3.27 contains bug fixes that will make your site more robust and secure (a good impact); and if you have installed PHP by compiling source, you may have to recompile PHP after the upgrade of Apache (neither good nor bad if you're aware of it).

The recompilation may be necessary to make PHP aware of changes in the Apache API.
