Apache Tomcat

I see a site called Apache Tomcat:

Is it correct to say Apache Tomcat because I was wondering if Apache and Tomcat are the same or what the difference is?

As I understand it, Apache is a web server and Tomcat is a J2EE application server.

Apache is a collective name for the project that creates (amongst other things):
- Apache HTTP Server (web server)
- Apache Tomcat (servlet engine)
