I am suddenly getting the "Test Page for Apache" on my netware 6 server. It has worked fine for months. I can still get on Imonitor and Imanager but my IFolder manager and the Novell Web Manager have quit working. When i tried to get to the Novell Web Manager page i get the "Test Page for Apache". It is configured to work on port 80 and IFolder manager is configured on its default port. I have looked at every config file I know to look at. Nothing has changed on it as far as i can tell. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi

No idea about Novell, but that sounds like an update overwrote the httpd.conf with a new default one. I would start with checking the [tt]DocumentRoot[/tt] directives.

Feherke.

I do not know apache very well so forgive me if i sound dumb. The thing that puzzles me is when i load apache at the server all the required modules load such as Ifolder manager, Imanager and so on. So could that still be something as simple as directive changing??? Thanks again

You may also check for Include conf.d/*.conf in your config.

If you have something like this, apache will automatically read in all .conf files placed in the /conf.d folder which could give you unexpected results.

[/etc/httpd/conf.d]
> cat welcome.conf
#
# This configuration file enables the default "Welcome"
# page if there is no default index page present for
# the root URL. To disable the Welcome page, comment
# out all the lines below.
#
<LocationMatch "^/+$">
Options -Indexes
ErrorDocument 403 /error/noindex.html
</LocationMatch>
