Hello,

I am running RH 7.1 and apache is shutting down every Sunday at 3AM (this is the third week in a row) and I am unable to immediately restart it. Does anyone know why this is happening? Did someone hack my server?

Please help, thanks!

Is there anything in your cron?
look for "achectl stop" in the cron file and comment out the line.

Yes do check the /etc/cron.weekly file for references or entries that are suspicious. Then check who's logged into your system lately by using the "last" command, and check /var/log/messages and /var/log/secure.

Hope this helps!!!
