Do I need both of these in order to get a remote connection? My localhost servers work fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Only one or the other.

Okay, I have Apache running on my pc. Why in the world can I not get a remote connection? One of the error messages says I have an FTP error.

The only thing I can think of is that I share the original site files with another pc so that we can work together and synchronize files. I'll have to check with the administrator first but I believe the site is virtually hosted by this particular pc. My question is: if that pc is not online or running, could that be the reason I'm getting these error messages on my end?

Please advise. Thank you for your assistance.
