Hi,

I am trying to configure my Apache Server to be more secure,I would like to use both Authentication and SSL.Has anyone worked on this before, if so can u please help me.Any info on this would be appreciated.
By the way has any of worked with SSH, any info on this would be treasured.

We use SSH all the time where I work. It's quite easy to just grab the download at untar it, configure, make, make install, and you have the SSH client and the server right away, as well as secure ftp client and server. Once you're done, just disable telnet everywhere and run sshd. Works exactly the same as telnet, your Bash prompt will be identical. Do it ASAP. (and disable ftp and run sftpd)

As far as using Authentication together with SSL, could you be a little more specific? Exactly what to you want to do with Authentication? I don't see where the problem is.
